These corundum crystals, with a good size, show tones of red (ruby) and purple (sapphire). To add more attractive to them depending on the incident light temperature they show different tones. Due to these properties they receive the adjective "polychrome". Crystals show well defined faces and edges, with internal and external striations due to the crystal growth. Translucent and brilliant. The crystals are surrounded by an envelope of white feldspar and are in a matrix of micaceous schist. Quality, size and luster make them excellent specimens. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 2 x 1.8 x 1.4 cm. Fluorescence UVA.
