Excellent danburite specimen showing a well-defined crystal formed by a vertical prism with visible striated faces and other order terminal prisms. Transparency is pretty good and it shows a slight amethyst tone. It is accompanied by a group of smoky quartz crystals, two of them predominating and interpenetrated. These are partially covered with brilliant crystals of scalenohedral calcite. A display sample with something more than usual for the species. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 4 x 1.3 x 1 cm.
