A huge size specimen of quartz showing scalenohedra forms because it is a very interesting epimorphosis of quartz after calcite. Calcite was layered by quartz and carbonate was dissolved by the acidic media. On the front note that the specimen is formed by white small quartz crystals and at the rear we enjoy geometric cavities left by calcite. A curious and amazing specimen.
