STIBNITE, CALCITE

Group of radiated and prismatic stibnite crystals with an intense luster and metallic gray color. With striated prism and clearly visible defined terminal faces. They are partially covered by flattened lenticular rhombohedral calcite, translucent and near white color, which are disposed very aerial and interpenetrated by stibnite, contrasting on the sulfides matrix. A huge size specimen from this vug.These specimens are the result of a relatively recent find in deep levels of Herja mine. Currently, this area is completely flooded and get new specimens like these will be difficult. A rediscovered classic from Romania. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 0.9 x 0.9 x 0.3 (calcite) cm.
