The rhodizite and londonite are very rare worldwide borates and the best specimens have been found in Madagascar, beating the Russian specimens in quality and size (the Russians do not usually exceed centimeter). They belong to the londonite-rhodizite series, being the londonite the term with some rubidium and rich in cesium and rhodizite richer in potassium than cesium. Therefore decide what is what becomes difficult. Most commonly crystals belong to the area near the rhodizite as the londonite is much scarcer. In this specimen we can enjoy a group of gemmy crystals, brilliant, translucent; with well defined faces and edges. The yellow color with greenish tones is very characteristic. In a matrix with feldspar, quartz and tourmaline (probably liddicoatite). THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 0.8 x 0.7 x 0.5 cm.
