A good sized scalenohedral calcite crystal from an Iranian locality not well-represented in collections. It shows a brilliant yellow orange color, with some transparence at the ends of the crystal. Note that at both ends has different endings facets. At one terminal we observe an acute classic termination, with a small rhombohedron face, whereas the other is a complex and interesting combination of various rhombohedrons. The main crystal is: 7,8 x 4,2 x 3,7 cm. Fluorescence UVC & UVA.
