Baryte crystals from Cerro Warihuyn are a classic of the Peruvian mineralogy. These specimens show us rich groups of tabular crystals, defined by well-developed pinacoidal forms truncating those of the orthorhombic prisms, giving the specimen an unusual aesthetic among baryte specimens. Transparence, brilliance, with a delicate yellowish tone and forming parallel and book-shape growths or interpenetrating. Strongly fluorescent under UV light (LW-SW) with yellow light emission. A classic with aesthetics for a fine display. The main crystal is: 4 x 2,3 x 0,2 cm. 1,57 x 0,91 x 0,08 Inc.
