A very good size specimen formed by “pineapple” aggregates of quartz crystals, very bright and well defined, and with the intense red color characteristic of the Jacinto de Compostela. specimens of this quality are not easy to come by. Even the locality is unusual for these specimens. Some time ago a collector told me that in the area where they are found they were called, if you will allow me, "devil balls" because of their color and numerous sharp points. This sample belongs to the Jesús Talabán collection and is accompanied by a handwritten label.
