This specimen shows a parallel growth of lustrous, emerald green crystals of vivianite in a metamorphosed sandstone matrix, free of sulfides. It is very important to the stability of the sample in the future. The Canutillos mine has produced some of the finest quality vivianite specimens I’ve ever seen before. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 10,5 x 5,5 x 1,6 cm.
