GYPSUM

A cluster of water-clear gypsum crystals showing a magnificent luster and transparency and very well defined edges and faces. They are perched very aerial on a white alabaster matrix covered by small gypsum crystals. Huge size and excellent quality specimen, for the best display. Under short and long wave ultraviolet light sources all specimens show fluorescence and evident phosphorescence. The selenite specimens from Fuentes de Ebro quarries have been considered the best ones worldwide. Fluorescence UVC & UVA. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 2,7 x 1,3 x 0,4 cm.
