VANADINITE, BARITE

A different vanadinite specimen. On a white to orange tabular barite crystals matrix some groups of gemmy red vanadinite barrels, with parallel growths, contrasting quite well in the sample. Some of the vanadinite crystals show color zoning, they are dark red brown in the center and red on the ends. We would like to emphasize the aesthetic small but very bright hyaline calcite crystals which partially cover some of them and the barite matrix. So lots to think about in this one. The main crystal is: 0,6 x 0,5 x 0,4 cm.
