A brilliant alabandite crystal with an intense black color, it is perched on the rhodo matrix. It shows cube-octahedral curved forms. Really nice and representative specimen. These alabandite specimens, from a recent find (2010), can be taken as an example of the best for this rare crystallized manganese sulfide, which does not usually show well-defined crystalline forms. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 1,7 x 1,5 x 1 cm. FluorescenceUVA (Rhodochrosite).
