HUANZALA MINE, HUALLANCA, HUALLANCA DISTRICT, BOLOGNESI PROVINCE, ANCASH, PERU
Dimensions: 7.9 X 6.5 X 4.2 cm.
A very curious specimen formed by a matrix covered by several sphalerite complex and interpenetrated tetrahedral crystals with a metallic luster, with some pyrite. Partially covering the sphalerite a group of galena crystals with curved and dissolved cube-octahedron faces and edges, really interesting. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 1,5 x 1,4 x 0,7 cm. Fluorescence UVC.
